MicroMetl Concentrics

Concentric diffuser packages are standard, pre-designed duct packages where the supply and return air flow comes out of the same diffuser. Generally the return air is through the middle of the diffuser and the supply air is around the outer perimeter of the diffuser. Using concentric diffusers eliminates the cost of having custom designed duct work manufactured for job-specific requirements.

There are 2 types of concentric diffusers:

1.) Hard Duct Concentric Diffuser Packages

2.) Flex Duct Concentric Packages

The hard duct concentric package range from 2 tons to 25 tons and include:

• An insulated transition that fits inside the roofcurb and takes the side x side HVAC unit duct configuration and transitions it into a return inside of a supply duct configuration

• Concentric (insulated) sheet metal duct work with return inside of the supply

• Either a aluminum flush mount diffuser or a drop diffuser with adjustable supply grilles

The transition and the duct work are usually shipped knocked down.

The flex duct type concentric packages range from 2 tons to 25 tons and include:

• Insulated, assembled square to round transitions for both the supply and return openings that fit inside the roofcurb
• Either a aluminum flush mount diffuser or a drop diffuser with adjustable supply grilles, with an attached transition box

Flexduct packages (4 ft) are also available.
